Double Piston Motorized Hydraulic Specimen Extruder
The first piston of the Double Piston Motorized Hydraulic Sample Extractor is used for the fast and smooth extraction of tubes from Ø 38 mm to Ø 160 mm, as well as Proctor, CBR, and Marshall molds. Two models are available with piston ram travel of 70 cm or 100 cm.
The second piston is used for the fast and smooth extraction of tubes or cutters from Ø38 mm to Ø72 mm, as well as uniaxial and triaxial test specimens. The forward and backward movements of the piston are controlled by a single-lever hydraulic valve with a ram travel of 200 mm.
The Sample Extractor has a capacity of 60 kN. It is a vertical type.
Specifiers of different sizes can be safely retrieved after extraction using the adjustable V-shaped sample collection table. This V-table can be easily removed to save space. The hydraulic piston can be stopped at any position during sample extraction.
The motorized hydraulic sample extractor is supplied with adapters for ∅ 38 mm, ∅ 72 mm, Ø 100 mm (4”) and Ø 150 mm (6”) molds.
Other adapters (ring and tamping rod) must be ordered separately.
